We develop, operate, and supply renewable energy in Colombia.

Three plants in operation connected to ESSA's grid in Barrancabermeja, under a standardized 1 MW model ranging from connection approval to commercial operation in nine months.

MODEL

1 MW plants, close to consumption, in short timeframes.

Distributed generation changes the equation for solar projects in Colombia. By staying below the threshold of 1 MW of grid connection capacity, these projects access a simplified regime that eliminates the bottlenecks that delay large-scale projects for years.

No environmental license

They do not require proceedings before an environmental authority, the most time-consuming part of large-scale projects.

Connection in 3 months

Direct approval with the grid operator, without competing for capacity in the national transmission system.

Construction in 6 months

Standardized and replicable design, with already validated equipment and procedures.

Limited construction risk

Turnkey contract with fixed scope and price.

TRAJECTORY

Nine months between connection approval and commercial operation. This is not a projection: it is the time it took us for our first project.

PLANTS

Our plants

A single model, replicated. The three plants share design, grid connection capacity, network operator, and operating procedures. That standardization is the foundation of our growth plan.

SUPPLY

Integrated from generation to sale.

Emerging Solar operates both as a generator and as a registered supplier with XM. That integration allows us to directly manage the sale of our energy without depending on third parties.

We currently operate under a market-selling scheme, taking advantage of the tightness between supply and demand in the Colombian electricity system. Our status as a supplier allows us to migrate to long-term bilateral contracts when market conditions warrant it, while maintaining flexibility over the portfolio's commercial strategy.

TRAJECTORY

A new vehicle, a team with history.

Emerging Solar is born as a spinoff, with the same team that originated, developed, and put into operation the P15 portfolio.

Our growth does not depend on a leap in scale. It depends on repeating a standardized model we have already executed three times, with the same design, the same grid connection capacity, and the same operating procedures.

IMPACT

Clean energy delivered to the grid, not offset on paper.

~5.5 GWh/year

estimated annual production of the portfolio

~2,600 homes

equivalent Colombian residential consumption

~515 tCO₂e/year

emissions avoided

Emissions calculated using the National Interconnected System emission factor of 0.097 tCO₂e/MWh (2025). Since the start of operations, the portfolio has avoided approximately 342 tCO₂e.

Our plants are located close to consumption centers, which reduces transmission losses and eases the load on the local distribution grid.

TEAM

Who is behind the portfolio.

The Emerging Solar team has developed more than 300 MW of renewable capacity in the Colombian power sector.

The company integrates development, operation, and supply functions with its own team, without outsourcing the management of its assets.

INVESTORS

We are in discussions to expand the portfolio.

Emerging Solar has a 21 MW portfolio at various stages of development and a proven execution model. Detailed project information, including corporate structure, financial performance and projections, is shared with investors under a confidentiality agreement.
